I am not a member of the CKC, but I do breed CKC registered Shih Tzu. My first 2 Shih Tzu Chip and Dale and then Lulu were not registered and even though I was told I could get their papers, I never met ChipandDales Mom and Dad and I never did get their papers, so as with any dog that is not registered you cannot guarantee it's heritage, so you cannot call the puppies " Pure Bred" " It is against the Law" But that all changed with Beswick Sebastian and Falling Star Sassy Girl and Dailey etc, all my registered Shih Tzu. I have their pedigree and it goes back quite far to many breeders before me who incorporated the best Shih Tzu in the lines they could. I could not have asked for a more wonderful dog than Sebastian to start me on my journey.
